A listing is included only when its Opening Hours section is switched on, which is the same condition that decides whether the “Open Now” badge appears on its card. And each listing is judged in its own time zone, which matters if your directory covers more than one.

Fallback for listing package expiration

Until now the end of a package was the end of the listing. A one-time package reached its expiry date, or a subscription was cancelled, and the listings went offline. The owner lost their presence, and your directory lost the content.

Package products can now name a fallback: when listings on this package expire, move them to another package, usually a free plan. Instead of expiring, the listings stay online and move to that package, with its features and a fresh expiry date from its duration. The listing keeps its status and publish date, and it doesn’t go back through approval.

It changes what a cancelled subscription means. A business that stops paying drops to whatever your free plan offers rather than disappearing, which gives them something to come back to. And if the subscription becomes active again, their listings move back automatically and the free slot is handed back.
