Registration / Login Page

To enable user registration on your page, please first enable it in your WordPress: Settings → General → Membership – and check the “Anyone can register” option.

Once you have enabled registration on your website create a static page with this shortcode:

[realteo_my_account]


Then go to Realteo Options → Pages select that page as “My Account Page” option.

If you are using WooCommerce, you can also set that page page as your “My account page” in WooCommerce → Settings → Accounts.

If you would like to display Log In / Register and User Menu in header go to Customize → Header → General Header

Included Plugins

Findeo comes with some plugins bundled. They are installed during Setup Wizard process, and here’s an explaination what is what:

  1. Realteo – it’s our real estate listings plugin that helps you create, manage and categorise your properties. It comes with front-end Submit Property page, Bookmarks, Paid Properties Option and many more.
  2. WPBakery Page Builder –  The Visual Composer is used to create page layouts with drag and drop interface. This plugin is included in theme on developers/extended  license, which means I bought it for higher price to be able to include it in my theme. You as end user can use it only with this theme, and do not get the license key that is used to auto-updates.
    Updates of Visual Composer come with the updates of the theme (we always include new version in theme few days after update release). You can of course buy your own copy of VC if you want it faster or need support from plugin authors.
  3. Revolution Slider – is an innovative, responsive WordPress Slider Plugin that displays your content the beautiful way. It’s included on the same rules as WPBakery Page Builder
  4. Findeo Shortcodes – all visual elements from the theme are provided by this plugin. It’s required for the theme.
  5. Findeo VC Bridge – plugin that adds Findeo shortcodes as elements in Visual Composer.   It’s required for the theme.
  6. Contact Form 7 and Contact Form 7 – Dynamic Text Extension – The Contact Form 7 plugin is used to display contact forms in the theme, and also used as a contact form to agents on the listing pages. It requires some additional configuration, that is described here

Setup Wizard

Findeo comes with  an excellent setup wizard that will automatically import demo data

You should see Setup Wizard page immediately after activating Findeo, if you don’t or you’ve skipped it, you can find it in Appearance → Setup Wizard.

It’s pretty basic, you just need to confirm each step, the wizard will install and activate all required plugins, import all the content, and set basic options. There are few things you need to do manually after.

Importing Revolution Slider

Go to your Dashboard→ Revolution Slider and click Slider Import

Setting Logo

The logo can be set in Appearance → Customize → Site Identity.

Setting Up Realteo

Realteo is our Real Estate plugin that powers the Findeo theme.

Here’s the description of all Settings and things you need to set in case you haven’t or couldn’t use Findeo Setup Wizard.

You’ll find all the settings in Dashboard → Realteo Options. There are currently 3 tabs.

General Options

Here you can set currency that will be used on your site, it’s position (before or after the number), the scale, and most importantly – the Google Maps API Key. Here’s how to generate your own API key – http://docs.purethemes.net/findeo/knowledge-base/getting-an-api-key/ this is required for the plugin to work correctly.

Pages

Realteo creates few areas for users accessible from front-end, for submitting and managing properties. You need to set those pages in that options

Each of those pages need to have the shortcode that is mentioned in the description under each option.

Property Submit

Realteo offers front-end submit property form.

With the option “Admin approval required” all properties submitted by users will be saved as Drafts/Pending and not visible on your site. Admin has to approve them first

With the option “Paid Properties” users are required first to pay for the property listing to be able to submit it. It uses WooCommerce to power the products and payments, so there are dozens of payments gates available to process the payments. When users adds the property it’s saved with status “Pending Payment” – if the orders is processed (paid) the property status will be automatically changed to Pending (if admin approval required) or Published

With the option “Property duration”  you set the number of days after which the property will be unpublished and set to the status “Expired”. Setting it to 0 will make properties published forever (or as long as admin or owner removes it)

Additionally, the paid properties packages might have different number of expiration days, which will have higher priority over this setting.
